PEGASE systems Software Suite

The FALCON suite from PEGASE Systems is a state of the art Vessel Traffic (VTS) monitoring package, designed to provide synthetic information that are required to manage efficiently all kind of maritime surveillance operations.

FALCON has been developed in accordance with the IMO maritime standards in order to respond to the current needs of the most demanding users.

VTS Application

With the growing of waterways traffic and port entrance, to ensure safety and security in a harbour is more difficult than ever. Surveillance and control of the maritime traffic are operations that cannot be ignored. The FALCON VTS from PEGASE Systems is a solution to assist port operators and manage the vessel traffic more efficiently.

FALCON has been designed to be used as stand alone VTS solution. Coupling with Radar like POSEIDON HD520, FALCON wil detect every targets within a predefine area and will provide users with all the information needed to ensure fluid and efficient vessel traffic monitoring. Connected to Weather, Wind, Wave & tTde sensor, FALCON will ensure a perfect shipping navigation whatever the environmental conditions are.
FALCON will also help users to manage the port traffic, to avoid collisions in order to make safer hearbour.

PEGASE systems also offers a Maritime and offshore surveillance system named TRITON. TRITON Software displays radar video and ARPA targets, allows defining a guard zone, send alarm intrusion, display automatically a visible foot print image of targets, and will allow full control of the camera by a joystick.

TRITON is also working optionnally with FALCON VTS system, where radar data are displayed on an ECDIS chart together with AIS data if any. The CCTV video image is further overlaid in a separate window.

CSS Applications

Through a Radar Architecture & Network, FALCON has a Coastal surveillance module, that can be ultimately coupled with POSEIDON HD520.

POSEIDON is PEGASE state of the art long range high definition radar, that will enable users to detect, identify and track unknown small vessels even in the toughest wheather conditions.

FALCON is a solution to command and control maritime forces, prevent smuggling and illegal immigration or fisheries, protect environment, as to provide an immediate answer to all kind of emergency situations.

BAS & MLM Applications

A High Tonnage Vessel berthing could quickly become a disaster if the Berthing tools are not adequate. This operation requires high precisions measures and perfect information to ensure a safe and smooth jetty.

FALCON, through its BAS software module is a complete Berthing Aid System that indicates in real time the bow and stern vessel speed and provide to users the vessel/wharf alignment. Thanks to a color code, users cans quickly have an complete, accurate and global view of the situation.

Coupling to our MLM solutions, BAS is a complete solution for Vessel Berthing. When the ship is docked to the jetty, FALCON indicates the mooring lines tension. In case of a too high tension, an alarm will turn on to warn the operator.
